Over an eight-week period, from February 16th to April 15th, a massive 6,562 feet (or 2,000 meters) of metal pipes will be swapped out for durable plastic ones. This ambitious project will span across several key roads, including Freehold Road, Parliament Road, and Upland Road, to name a few.
"These upgrades are a massive step towards a cleaner, greener future," says Wigfell, the project lead. "By reducing methane emissions and paving the way for renewable gases like biomethane, we're ensuring the UK's energy needs are met sustainably."
